Ivy Tran was born and raised in Oklahoma City. She graduated from Putnam City High School in
2004. Afterwards, she attended the University of Oklahoma and graduated from the University
of Oklahoma-Health Sciences Center with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nutritional Sciences. After
working a few years as a dietician consultant in both rehabilitation and long-term acute care
facilities, she decided to go back to school to pursue a master’s degree. Ivy was accepted in the
Physician Associate Program at the University of Oklahoma and was involved in several campus organizations including Leadership HSC, Oklahoma Academy of Physician Assistants, American Academy of Physician Assistants, and Bridges to Access. Ivy graduated from the PA Program in 2014 and shortly after got married and moved to San Jose, California to work in the Emergency Department at Regional Medical Center of San Jose, as well as a Family Medicine clinic for a little over a year. Ivy’s eventual goal was to move back to Oklahoma City to be near her family and friends. Dermatology has always been an interest for Ivy and she accepted a position at Lam Dermatology in 2016.

When Ivy is not working, she enjoys trying out new restaurants, cooking, hanging out with
family and friends, watching romantic comedies, and working out.
